1. QUESTIONMARK AT ALT'C - Edinburgh 11-13th SEPT

2. QUESTIONMARK SHORTLISTED FOR AWARDS

Questionmark Perception has been shortlisted in two categories 
for the WOLCE (World Open Learning Conference & Exhibition)
awards: Online Product of the Year and Generic Product of the
Year. The winners of the categories will be announced 
on Wednesday, 10th October.

4.   TECH TIP: POSITIONING MARKERS IN
HOTSPOT QUESTIONS
Do you have a graphic in your Hotspot questions that
would look better if the markers were initially positioned
in a different corner? You can control the position of the
markers with a setting in your template. The markers in
a Hotspot question will default to display underneath the
graphic, but they can be moved by adding an
ALIGN_MARKERS variable in the template file for the
session, under the [DOCUMENT] header.

ALIGN_MARKERS=Top lines the markers along the top
of the image, from left to right.
ALIGN_MARKERS=Bottom is the default, lining the markers
along the bottom of the image, from left to right
ALIGN_MARKERS=Left lines the markers along the left of the
image, from top to bottom.
ALIGN_MARKERS=Right lines the markers along the right of
the image, from top to bottom.
ALIGN_MARKERS=Random scatters the markers randomly
around the image.

6.     TRAINING COURSES

The Author's Training Course offers a basic introduction to
authoring questions in Perception. Trainees create an
assessment following step-by-step instruction. The basic
features of Session Manager, the concept of publishing and an
introduction to layout are also covered.

The Reporting and Administration Training Course explains the main 
features of Security Manager and Enterprise Reporter to enable users to
manage and publish sessions, address security issues, and use
the eight types of reports.
